Long time no post.

matrix4bWell it has been a long time since I posted. First off, I lost my job a protocol due to layoffs. That company is going down the tubes quickly. I has been nearly two months. I did manage to get a new job at MCI. Training starts on monday. Lower pay but I might get commissions. Yeah, sure. Anyway, I am not happy about the sales aspect of the job but hey it is employment.
Special Anouncement: I asked my love to handfasting and she accepted. I asked her on beltaine up at my rock. Poor choice on my side, It was cold and raining. I went to neel down and ask her and accedently neeled on her sore foot. Sigh, I will never live that one down. The date is set for Aug 2nd. Those that are invited should get the invite soon. Those that weren't invited...Sorry we were going to make this a small afair. Many apologies. Most of the invites will be hand delivered. They are not even printed yet so don't expect it yet. We wanted to make sure we could get the site that we wanted. But plans are underway. More updates as time goes on on that one.
Let see, I had my court date with ricci. Her father was predictable there. Her father got back his bond money. I have a copy of the info on what she has. Want to hear it..Thought you would never ask.
Items that have possibly any value: A dead car that she listed as being worth $50, that is the le barron. The stereo is worth that. No other items worth mentioning. If I add up all the stuff it may add up to a couple hundred.
Items definetely NOT on the list: No items in storage in any state, NO Horse (big shock right), No stock in any company let alone a horse breeding one (Gasp, really!)
Ok so I am a bit bitter about the whole thing. She has no accounts or job and Yes she did have anonter kid, a girl on October 31st. Her father is willing to pay $800 or so of the $2000+ she owes me, to close it out of course. Realilistically that may be all I get out of her. She can avoid getting a job forever. The only way I can get the money involentarily from her is to garnish an account or an employer. Still haven't checked if I can garnesh her taxes. But the point is I can't get the money from her. The only way I can find out that she recives anything is to serve her with another debitor's interigatory. That can be done for free, no filing fee, but I do have to pay someone to serve her or get someone to do it. The court date for that would be set over a month ahead of when she needs to be served by. Yea, I think that she can dump all her stuff on someone else for "Loan" and dump a job in that amount of time. So I am thinking real hard on the offer that her father gave me. I need the money bad. Fixing cars, Handfasting, moving soon, and a host of other things that I could use that money for. To top it off her father thinks that it is illegal to put someone in jail for not showing up to court. Ricci claims to not have recived any servings, Whatever. Incidently that is exactly what the judge said that when she claimed such in court. heh. To those that don't know, Ricci's father is a lawyer, tax feild, I think. He should know better. I also got the feeling that dear little ricci has managed to convinse him that someone else was responsible for the phone and she didn't have it after a certian point. The point of where I talked to him in feb 2000 is when she owed $800 or so. That is what he is willing to pay. I didn't ask if he will pay the $200 contract cut off fee that VStream put on it, as the phone was in service less than a year. Think I might. Any comments on this (as are any at all) are welcome. Sign, anyone know how you go about reproting to a credit agency. Her credit rating is already messed up but that may give me a bit of satisfaction. I don't know.
On other news, My game was going fine, dispite the fact that my world Atlantia is far from complete and I lack countries, adventures, more info on gods, and a host of other things. It is going on hiatus due to the fact I have no material and I am in training on our regular gaming time. No other time spot is going to be good for all of the other players. Maybe this will give me time to develop the world a bit. Too much to do.
Other gaming, My sunday game seems to be going well, I have a human tech in a Star Wars game and in the other game I play (we switch off) a half-elf bard in the d20-ish Ever Quest. As I don't play the online version, I kink of like it. But it won't ever get me to play evercrack. I don't like online RPGs. For me the best is table top. In my sort of once a month Shadowrun game I am playing a skateboarding human decker. Going to be getting web shooters as bioware. Should be fun after that. Might not get to go to the next one due to my training schedule. Don't know. Will wait and see.
Not much else to put down right now. Ah, well. Laters

By that account she would only owe me $1834. $30 of that is late fees, $400 total of that is in the early contract cancelation fee ($200 per phone). So htat is like $1434 or so if you cut out that. But the point is I don't want to go lower than $1800. She owes the $2034 by law now. Extracting what is owed is another matter. Patt of me wants the wholw thing over. Sigh.
Anyway, Thanks for the congrats on the handfasting. As far a name changes when we finally do get maries, possible july 31 of 2005. That's the tentative date if things during the handfasting go well. I plan on keeping my name and accepting what ever kim wants for hers. Heh, she can't quite see her last name being mine. I also agree with you that no hyphanated last names for kids. That is just awful to me and seems a bit selfish. Oh, BTW you and Nathan are invited to the handfasting on Aug 2nd (this year) If you can make it. But seems like you might not be able to. Let us know. I also still have some art suplies of yours, tempt tempt. heh. Couldn't resist. Well Laters.
