The saga of my game cont...

Out of game issues: One player continually does not show up. At least constitantly. The person is Andrew. The player that plays the captain of the Airship. Sigh. I wish that I could just have a continuing game with consistant players. Ah, well.

In Game: Solved issue of missing captian by entrenching him in paperwork. The rest of the non-PC crew goes and parties harty in the city. Mostly in the bars and Brothels. Isn't that how it usually is? While the remaining PCs search for info on the mysterious Castle of Glass. They have traced knowledge of it to a person that lives in an enigmatic town called Red Rock. The PCs have managed to hire on a caravan headed that direction. Next game they will start out on the caravan.

The Sage of the Sands is going to give them directions to go to The Oracle and warn them of the 3 tests they must pass to get to the oracle. I may just resurect my concept of the Crystal desert. A powder fine crystal sand that is very abasive as the sand is in the shape of tiny snowflakes and cuts easily.

I think that the caravan may get attacked too. Have them earn their keep.

Life Works, even when it's broken.

Checked freinds Live journal and found that they made it safely to minasota. Good for them.

Not much to update you all on in my life. Less than a week for Ricci's Court Apointment. I hope to have the money that she owes me shortly after that. That would feel so good to have that chapter of my life closed. The pages are starting to rot. I plan on going to the court simply because I am curious as to what she owns and what, if anything, she has to say to me. Ok, to give a bit of background for those that don't know.

A While ago, (back in 1999 or so Yikes that long!) I was freinds with a woman named ricci. She was an ok freind. Had lots of charisma and the like. Well, she was down on her luck and needed a constant phone to move and keep track of her kidlett. Her credit was crap. I had a Cel phone service with Voice Stream. They let me add another phone to my service. My credit was good enough. This was given to ricci with the expressed understanding that she would pay what ever costs that extra phone line incured. She proceded to ring up one really big bill and kept promising to pay me but never came through. I took her to small claims court and due to the fact that she never showed up. She also did not show up to the debitor inquiries. This issued a bench warrent (in the amount of what she owed me, no less) for her arrest. A bit of a wait and I get a peice of paper that informs me that the court date is april 15th, 2003. Hazaaaa!!! Now I am not sure but what I have been told is that I will be given the amount of the bench warrent/bond thing. Either that or I will be given part of it and then given the info on how/what to garnish.

That is the bare minimum background. Needless to say Ricci turned out to be a real user type of personality. One of the very few people in the world that I feel has no hope of redemption. She should have her child taken away. To defend myself, I belive that almost never should a child be seperated from their parents. (Either adopted or natral, the person the child calls mom) The only time it should be permisable is when the parent/parents are harmful to the child develpmentally or physically. She is both but not in the obvious way. Arrgg, I'm droping that line now.

Anyway, that happens in 6 days. Let you all know how it goes.

Other news, still climbing that relationship ladder. My SO got work back that a charge on her account got reversed so she is headed to the bank to get the overdraft fees reversed too. That is much happy news. It sounds petty but finances are about the only issure I panic over. The Account is in my name and we both have been having poor checks. It has been scrap by by the grace of our roomates and the skin of our teeth. This stems also from employment issues. Lack of and the like. Sigh. This has put a large strain on me and thus our relationship. Heh, If we had tons of money we'd be fine. Well, better off anyway. That is the bumpyest part of our relationship. Not by half as good as it should be but hey, it grows.

Still other News, My SO has an old freind that is part of a car club that wants a stone statue of their logo. By July no less. Now it is not yet warm enough and we have not been able to get together on the design or work out an offical deal yet but this may be a ticket to getting paid for my stone sculpture. He plans on doing the car tour with the Logo and the like. That could be good.
