matrix4b I have come to the realization that we are evolving ourselves into trolls.
Ok, not all.
Just walking to the bus and thinking about it. We, as a species, struggled our way through to walking upright and fought for our intellegence too. Now, after the invention of the computer and the inovation of the factory, are de-evolving ourselves into people that habitually look down at the ground and hunch over a small area. Such as a computer or a conveyor belt. It's gotta be a good 60% of the human race. TV is also struggling to reduce our intellegence with such clasics as reality TV can provide and sports shows to bring out our inner primitive. TV is yet another area that we hunch over to watch. Mostly. The inovation of the Plasma or LCD and making them big to put on the wall helps a litlle but computers are taking a larger drive. Now some of us escape this by having other types of jobs but even a lot of our "play" involves hunching over. Humans have gotten taller on average over the past few generations to such a degree a person just 300 years a go, a short time in a species timeframe, would consider our world the land of Giants. As the avarage height is around 6 inches or what 10% larger now. In just 300 years.
Lets think a moment if there are Elves like in a fantasy book that live for hundreds of years without breaking a sweat.
How they must be both scared and amused at this hairless ape that is rapidly evolving first into a threat and then into mostly trolls. A hunched over, near-sighted, easily amused by a colored box, type of creature that is rapidly overpopulating the planet that they exist on with very little overall conciousness as to the individual and cumulitive effect on their own overall living envronment. "Trolls"
