This is a lesson I'm learning while watching my wife attain a legal education: there are all sorts of strange people out there, proclaiming to be "yon high muckity-muck of XYZ order of high magick", but the moment you start invoking the law at them, REAL magic begins.
So many people live in ignorance and fear of the law, it's kind of like waving christmas lights at neanderthals.
