I just read a recipie for Bannana Wine. Yes bannana wine. Takes 2 years to age. I think that I can adapt the recipe for mead.

Mmm, Bannan Mead and since I got some extra Carboys reciently, and a lack of cash for honey. I think that If I get the product together then I would like to try it and bulk age it for a year after it clears, then bottle for 1 year. I hear it is a great flavor. The recipie I read was for 40 pounds of bannana, 20 pounds of sugar and ended up being 12 gallons. The other long year projects I was thinking on was a coffee, coffee chocolate, chocolate, and now ideas for a bannana nutmeg (now that I know what volume of nutmeg does) and chololate bannana.

Mmmm, Ideas, Ideas.

Anybody want to buy me a couple of 42 pound buckets of honey? Only $81.50 a peice now. I can get 2 2/3 batches out of 1 bucket.
Just kidding. I wouldn't expect someone willing to give me the honey. Though it is a legal throught. Buy me a 42 pound bucket and I will make one batch that is all yours, minus 4-22 oz bottles for longrun stock of course, 4 bottles of other mead chould be exchanged. BTW 1 batch is about 8 six-packs or 40 bottles, give or take 3-5 bottles, pending. Fruit batches tend to be at the plus side due to the additional juice in the secondary.

Ah, for a wealthy patron willing to support my hobby for only 1-2 sixpacks out of each batch. Oh, well such is life.
