Mead Journal: "The Limey"
Sep. 3rd, 2008 07:04 amWell over Laborday I bottled the Limey.  Now it is just up to aging time, although the taste I had of it was only a little green but tasted good.  It made 2 cases or 8 six packs and 1 1/2 bottles.  I plan on using the bottles as testers to see if it is done aging.  Next up to bottle Ned's Happy Place.  Not sure when I will get the time.  Ned's happy Place came along a lot quicker than I thought.  It will make more than 2 cases.  I need to pick up bottle caps.
I think that I have the next 4 batches planned.
Pumpkin Mead, with nutmeg and cinnamon and maybe a little vanilla.
Vanilla Almond: my first fully Meglathin.
Peach or more likely Pear Nutmeg as pears are a later season item.
And the demand for another Rockbiter is there.
Cranberry will need to wait until next batch.
I am thinking on doing a Cherry Lime one too.
