Mead Journal: Strawberry Mead
May. 23rd, 2008 03:50 pm Well, took a sample of the mead and aplied Pectin acid to it. It worked out great, cleared up cloudyness and that part is time to rack. I aplied the same treatment to the 5 gal container. Hasn't cleared up yet but it will. Then I will rack it. Only a few more rackings and that batch will be ready for bottling. I still want to infuse it with a bit more honey and strawberry juice for a bit more flavor. That I will probably do with the next racking as it will be clear enough to see what is going on.
