Mead Journal: Vanila Beans! In Bulk?

matrix4bAnyone know where I could get some good vanilla beans for inexpensive? I wouldn't mind going in bulk and even going in with someone. I have a few mead projects that would need it. One being Orange cream (orangesicle mead anyone) that might require 2 beans for a 5 gal batch. The other project is a vanilla almond batch that may take 3-5 vanilla beans. SO over all, for a good price I would be happy to get say 5 to 10 beans.
Best Price I found was a place that sells 2 about 4-5 inches long for $5.95 a tube, Madagascar Vanilla Beans. Probably very potent, which is the point. So that would cost me around $30 for about 10 beans. Hmm, not sure what season you can get fresh and good ones in.
